1. The scope of work is only indicative and shall include design, manufacture and testing at manufacturers works, packing and delivery of goods. Detailed specifications and terms and conditions are given in tender documents. Tenders can be obtained from Assistant Enginer, Akashvani Bhavan, Parliament Street, New Delhi-110001 in Room no.347.
(i) Tender Documents can be obtained upon requests in writing on payment of cash fee mentioned above against each tender to be deposited with Cash Branch, Room no. 312, P & D Unit, 3rd floor, Akashvani Bhavan, New Delhi – 110001.
(ii) For tender documents to be received by post by the tenderers, an account payee demand draft for tender cost from any Nationalised Bank drawn in favour of DDO, P&D UNIT, PRASAR BHARATI (BCI), DG: AIR, NEW DELHI – 110 001 should be sent by Registered Post along with request letter so as to reach this office well in advance before the scheduled tender opening. The department will not be responsible for any delay and the tenders will not be accepted after due date and time.
(iii) Sealed Tender addressed to the Asstt.Director Engg. (Purchase), P&D Unit, Akashvani Bhawan, New Delhi-110 001(India) must be sent by Registered post or put into the Tender Box kept in Room No. 314 of DG, AIR, P&D Unit, Akashvani, Bhawan, New Delhi or delivered to Shri N.K. Sood, S.O.(M&C) in-charge of Tender Box, alternatively Shri K.K. Sharma, S.O.(EI) in the absence of Shri N.K. Sood, so as to reach before closing hours, on the date of opening as indicated in Tender Document. This office shall not be responsible for any delay, loss or non-receipt of tender by post. The tenders received late shall be rejected.
iv) Tender notice is also available on the AIR website www.allindiaradio.org (using the link: InformationàTender). All amendments/ changes in tender opening dates etc. will be published in the Indian Trade Journal and will also be available on our above website. Prospective tenderers should check for any updates.
(v) The tenders are required to furnish Earnest Money Deposit as indicated in the column 6 of the NIT as against clause 2.2 at page no. 74 of Instruction to the Bidder.
2. The tenders will be made available from 14:30 Hrs. to 16:30 Hrs. on all working days. While making request for tender documents, the tender reference number as indicated in the tender notice as well as name and full address of the remitter should be clearly indicated.
3.The tender documents fee is not refundable. Tender document issued by the ADE (purchase) are not transferable.
4.The successful tenderers will be required to furnish Security Deposit within 30 days of placement of contract at the rate of 5% (five percent) for indigenous supplier and 10% (ten percent) in case of foreign supplier of value of contract in one of the acceptable forms as per tender documents.
NOTE :
(i) Small Scale Units Registered with NSIC under Single Point Registration Scheme for the item required in NIT shall be exempted from payment in respect of cost of Tender/Earnest Money as per the Government instructions on the subject on submission of documentary evidence of valid Registration.
(ii) Indian Agents quoting on behalf of foreign manufacturer must be Registered with DGS&D as on Tender opening date on behalf of foreign manufacturer under compulsory Registration Scheme.(iii)The purchaser reserves the option to give Purchase preference to the offer from Public sector units and/or from small scale cottage industries units over those from other firms, in accordance with policies of the Government from time to time.
