"Clerification to Tender Enquiry No. 12(89)06-D(P)/475-D(P-S)Cell for SITC of Captive Earth Station for AIR Silchar ."

This is regarding the tender for the SITC of Captive Earth Station at AIR, Silchar.

Please note the following clarification --

1. As mentioned in the tender notice published on website and in the commercial tender document, Captive Earth Station is needed only at AIR, Silchar and no Captive Earth Station is required for AIR, Dehradun. Since equipment needed for CES at AIR, Silchar and AIR, Dehradun were same, specification was jointly made for both these Stations. Hence it is requested that equipments needed for Captive Earth Station at AIR, Silchar only be offered as per the configuration mentioned in the Specification document. Schematic Block diagram showing configuration of CES at AIR, Silchar is enclosed for reference.

2. Since CES at AIR, Silchar will be uplinking to Geo Stationary INSAT Series satellites, requirement of automatic tracking of Satellite using Beacon Receivers is not there. Hence suitable antenna controller capable of controlling Azimuthal, Elevation and Polarization motors as per specification mentioned in the Tender documents be offered.

3. All the wave guides, couplers, adaptors, E-Plane/ H-Plane bends, cables and other accessories as seen required by the CES System being offered by Tenderer be offered for connecting Antenna to the output of HPA.
