The Following Clarifications are given for the subject Tender specifications: -

Section -III: Technical Specification of Transmitter

Clause 3.1.3: Stereo transmission should be according to International Telecommunication Union - Radio Communication (ITU-R) Recommendation -450 (Pilot Tone). The photocopy of details is enclosed herewith.

Clause 3.6.9: As per ITU-R Recommendations. The photocopy of details is enclosed herewith.

Clause 3.9: Selection of either of Exciter 1 or 2 should take place automatically during the Remote Operation of the Transmitter.

Clause 3.9: DG ON/OFF should take place automatically during the Remote Operation of the Transmitter. DG means Diesel Generator.

Section V (B):
Clause 5.13.3, 5.13.4 and 5.13.5: Tenderer is required to take up with their manufacturers of Remote Control & Telemetry Equipment.
